GAS BARRIER VENTILATION SYSTEMS

Our comprehensive range of fully compatible gas protection products form integrated systems to protect buildings from the ingress of ground borne gases, whatever the construction method, gas Characteristic Situation (Gas Regime), Gas Screening Value, or criteria determined by Ciria 665:2007, BRE414:2001, NHBC Report 10627-R01(04):2007 or BS8485:2007.

We offer a range of Alderprufe gas barrier membranes, gas dpc and pre-formed sections to suit all type of construction methods, and protect against methane, carbon dioxide, radon, hydrocarbons and hydrocarbon vapours. Our Geovoid range of gas venting void formers (Geovoid 26/60, 52/96/ 100/96) allows for maximum flexibility to design gas dilution and dispersal systems to suit every type of construction.

STRUCTURAL WATERPROOFING

The Alderprufe range of structural waterproofing products encompasses membrane systems, liquid systems, ventilated products and drainage systems – we are constantly reviewing products to provide up to date solutions for today’s construction problems, and have systems available to comply with the basement waterproofing requirements of Internal Environments Grades 1-4, and Construction Type A-C as identified in BS8102:1990.

GEOMEMBRANES / TUFLEX

Alderprufe Geomembranes can be used for a wide range of applications. Tuflex in particular combines excellent chemical resistance with low flexural modulus to provide the ideal membrane for buildings protection systems, cut-off trench containment (particularly on contaminated sites which might otherwise prove too difficult or costly to develop), gas protection and waterproofing / lining applications, including attenuation systems, lakes and lagoons. Other Alderprufe Geomembranes are available in a range of compounds, including HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. Whether the end use is for landfill, waterproofing, containment, chemical resistance – there is an Alderprufe geomembrane to suit.

GROUND STABILISATION

Geo-cell Ground Stabilisation system is a three dimensional honeycombed network of perforated / textured cells to confine and redistribute loads and control erosion; quick and simple to install, it can be used for embankment stabilisation, road and rail construction, water courses, armouring, footpaths, and retaining walls. Geo-cell can increase material sheer strength, reducing fill requirements by up to 50%, and it’s cellular structure can improve soil bearing capacity by up to 17 times. The ground stabilization ranges also includes Alderway and Geotex geotextiles and Secugrid polyester grid for ground reinforcement.

DPC

Alderburgh group is the largest independent manufacturer of dpc in the country; we provide Polyethylene DPC to BS6515, Higrade polymeric high performance dpc, Aldercourse GRA, Tuflex Dpc and Alderprufe HC Dpc for use with gas protection systems in a wide range of sizes. Preformed corners and cloaks can be manufactured to any size or detail for use in integrated fully sealed cavity tray systems.

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Stormwater is the phrase used to describe the excess rainwater that flows from rooftops, roads, car parks and other buildings. This water can contain many pollutants picked up from roofs and highways. Intense periods of heavy rainfall are placing new challenges on our country’s drainage infrastructure – it’s reckoned that two thirds of the devastating 2007 Summer floods were the result of surface water flooding - urban deluges which flooded over 44,000 homes with a total bill in the region of £3 billion. Our stormwater modules can be used to store the rainwater until it can be safely discharged, re recycled for commercial and domestic use, or soakaway back to ground. We offer a range of modular systems – Geocells, Aquavoid, Pluvial Cube, Aquadrain cells – to suit the specific needs of any site.
